Brussels Airlines is embarking on a significant expansion plan, including the addition of three Airbus A330 aircraft to its long-haul fleet and a major investment in a brand-new cabin interior.

The airline also plans to hire over 250 new employees to support its growth.

The expansion will strengthen Brussels Airlines’ position as the Africa expert within the Lufthansa Group.

The airline aims to become a European hub for flights to and from Sub-Saharan Africa, where there is growing demand for air travel due to increasing populations and economies.

To support its long-haul growth, Brussels Airlines will invest over €100 million in new cabins for its A330 aircraft.

The cabins will feature a premium experience for all three classes: business class, premium economy, and economy class.

The airline has also signed a three-year wet-lease agreement with Air Baltic. Starting in 2025, Air Baltic will operate four Airbus A220s for Brussels Airlines on regional routes and routes with lower demand.

Brussels Airlines’ expansion plans demonstrate its commitment to growth and its confidence in the future of the aviation industry.

The airline’s investment in its fleet and cabin interior will provide passengers with a more comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.
